Psychology: Dream Imagery

For psychology, we had to create an image based upon a dream we have experienced.  This is an example of one such dream I had experienced.
I created the image my taking a photo of myself, and using the photo as a base for the lineart, then filling and colouring in the rest of the image on my own accord.

Social Media I Declined to Take Part In:

Google+
Google+ presents itself as a better-organized Facebook, with a more professional approach to the user interface, as well as the organization.  However, with its limited user amount, and invite system, I am simply not inclined to join another social network site.

MySpace
MySpace is simply a social network I have no interest in partaking in.

Twitter
Twitter is a network in which I have no desire to join, as I have never felt inclined to.  It is a network in which’s sole purpose is nothing that cannot be performed on any other network.

The Prominence of Social Media in My Life
 Steam
Steam is a digital gaming distributor, with community bases, and voice chat capabilities.  It keeps track of gaming records, allows you to make purchases, store games in a digital library, while also having room for community clans, forums, and chat.  It is the software in which I spend most of my time in.

Social media plays a very large part in my day to day life.  It is the first thing I do when I get up in the morning, and the last thing I check before bed.  It is not necessarily a good thing, but nor is it solely negative.  I am able to keep in contact with friends from out of my area, organize events and groups, while still tending to personal accomplishments and goals.  It has helped me to learn what it is that I wish to achieve in my life, inspired my artwork, and helped me to inspire others.  It helps me to function with my friends and classmates as a collective, and help others immediately, when they are in need.  Social media has had a positive drive on my life, and I am extremely thankful for its prevalence in our society.
