Once upon a time, in a far away land, closer than you’d think, there was a girl named Little Red Riding Hood. She was named such, as she always wore a petite red cape around her neck, and through any stretch of imagination, no one could begin to understand why she insisted on wearing this cape wherever she went, however she did so, in spite, and went about however she pleased. Now Little Red’s Grandmother had fallen very ill with a sickly cold, so Red’s mother sent her out with a basket full of bread, cheese, meats, medicinal herbs, and wine (For when she got better), and sent her out through the forest and over the bridge towards Grandmother’s house. Off Red went, smelling the flowers all the way, before soon realizing she’d taken an awkward turn left when she’d intended to take a turn right. Realizing now, in the absence of her flower-ridden ecstasy, that she was alone in the woods, she quickly became fearful. Tossing about and turning in every which direction, until she finally managed to come about a brush, with a peculiar hole that was just her size. Desperate, she crawled through, hoping to seek some type of solace from the cold and dark, only to see a triplet of eyes, glaring at her, starvingly. Now at this, it is unclear, but in some twist of fate we are certain she understood what to do in such a situation, quickly giving up the contents of her basket to the eyes, which we would later realize, through witnesses, belonged to that of a triplet of wolves. After such occurrence, it was noted that Red was not seen again for quite some time after, though parties of friends and families gave a hand in attempts to find her. It soon became days, months, and years, until finally it was assumed Red was lost. However, it was on her 21st birthday, that she was sited, flouncing about, donning the cape that was never once not strewn about her neck, yet now, lengthened with the hides of the hunted, and adorned with the facial skull of brethren. She danced with wolves, and had no interest in ever turning back to the lost girl she once was.
(I have a sketch, may or may not upload it eventually.)
