Self Portrait

My self-portraits were done with my camera on a tripod, on self-timer, after an amazing amount of trial and error.  

Both portraits are from the same set, however I really liked the contrast between them, seemingly telling two different stories.  The portraits were influenced, funny enough, from a Magic: The Gathering card. The paint is representational of a shaman, and the part of my self that is spiritual and the interest I have in the different life.
The contrasting emotions between the portraits reflects my self, a mixture of strength and tenacity, as well as the tenderness I feel towards all of life.
